One of our favorite community outreach events each year happens on Main Street on the 4th of July for the start of the Firecracker Fifty and the Parade.
Beloved Boutique graciously opens her storefront so our church can host a waffle breakfast for the crowds. We serve waffles to over 500 people as they are waiting for the parade to begin.
It is a great joy to meet new people as well as reconnect with those who return each year, visiting from other places around the country.
We get to watch the racers take off on their bikes for the Firecracker Fifty and cheer them on.
