MISSIONS

Cerritos, Mexico  is an extension ministry of Great Divide Calvary Chapel to raise awareness of the need for a church in the area, to collaborate with the local church and to invest spiritually into the community. It is also a platform for training those that may be called to the mission field internationally.  

THE LATEST-2026

• We are seeing Gods work in the town of Cerritos!  Home groups continue to flourish and the weekly Surfers Bible Study has begun!

VISION:

• Remember- What I have done in past, I will do it again
• Relationships- Church has never been about the building but about the people, so we will pursue the people of Cerritos and build community
• Return Often- We will go down regularly to be present in the community and serve along the local church

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN WE GO ON A MISSION TRIP:

• Attend the Missions Meetings prior to a trip.
• Be led by the Holy Spirit.  General travel plans for each trip are put together beforehand, however this mission is to be a day-to-day, Holy Spirit led mission field.  
• Be open to what the Lord is showing us while we are there. It may be rest and rejuvenation together as a church. It may be to invest in the children and families of the community. The Lord will show us each day!
